The ‘My Future, Our Future Youth Essay and Arts Competition’ was run from 25th May to 19th June 2020 and offered young Malawians a special opportunity to contribute their ideas towards the next vision for Malawi.
NPC has partnered with two international ICT support agencies – Digital Pathways at Oxford and Genesis Analytics based in South Africa – to support the Government of Malawi in producing a strategy for the development of inclusive growth and scaling-up of information technologies across all sectors of the economy.
NPC, with support from Agriculture Transformation Initiative, Michigan State University, and Chancellor College’s Geography Department has since 2019 been conducting a three-year exercise to identify geographical locations that have comparative advantages for specific economic activities and development into secondary cities, with emphasis on rural transformation.
