Published Malawi 2020 VNR Report for SDGs
The Malawi 2020 VNR Report highlights and presents progress achieved so far in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) between 2016 and 2020. It outlines some success stories that have taken on board the vulnerable and less privileged in the society into the fold of improved livelihoods and national prosperity.
Through the National Planning Commission (NPC), Malawi presented the report to the United Nations (UN) High Level Political Forum on Thursday, July 16, 2020 which was held under the theme ‘Accelerated Action and Transformative Pathways: Realising the Decade of Action and Delivery for Sustainable Development’.
The virtual presentation was made in form of a Voluntary National Review (VNR) mechanism, a process through which countries assess and present their progress in achieving the SDGs to fellow UN member states. Follow the link below for the recently published Malawi VNR report:
