The National Planning Commission (NPC) hosted representatives of some of its partners in the popularisation of the Malawi 2063 to an orientation meeting on the national vision, focusing on mindset change.
The partners included the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), Trans World Radio (TWR), Farm Radio Trust, MW2063 Online Radio and the Department of Civic Education in the Ministry of Local Government and National Unity.
Speaking when he officially opened the meeting, NPC Director General Dr. Thomas Munthali commended the partners for the tremendous work they are doing in popularising the Malawi 2063 and championing its mindset change agenda and attributed the wide awareness of the national vision among Malawians to their support.
“On our own as NPC, we couldn’t have taken the messages about Malawi 2063 that far,” he said.
He said the orientation was meant at making sure that the partners are well versed in the Malawi 2063 and ensuring consistency in the messages being spread to the public.
“We should all be speaking the same language,” he said.
