The just reconstituted MW2063 Youth Core Advisory Panel held their first quarterly meeting at Mponela in Dowa on Friday August 22nd 2025 where discussion centred on how young people can drive accelerated implementation of the Malawi 2063 First 10-Year Implementation Plan (MIP-1).
The meeting was hosted by the National Planning Commission in partnership with the National Youth Council of Malawi and the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture.
The engagement offered a platform for young people to share their ideas, aspirations, and innovative contributions toward achieving the youth-centric Malawi 2063 national vision.
The session also highlighted progress on the MW2063 and the implementation status of the MIP-1.
Youth representatives presented key issues affecting them and shared recommendations, positioning themselves as active advisors in shaping a prosperous and self-reliant Malawi.
