The Thyolo District Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Strategic and Investment Plan (DSIP 2023-2027), launched on July 27th, 2023, will guide the planning, implementation and monitoring processes in the WASH sector. It was developed following a range of district-wide surveys on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in order to understand the WASH situation in the district while identifying gaps that exist which may necessitate planned interventions to address such gaps. It outlines where and what needs to be prioritised in investments to help those most in need.
