The school of Education, Communications and Media Studies from Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) hosted a groundbreaking Symposium, bringing together students innovators, educators, and industry leaders to explore the intersection of entrepreneurship in education, media and communications students. Themed Malawi 2063 is possible: Spearheading an Entrepreneurial Mindset in Education, Media and Communications, the event was aimed at fostering a collaborative environment in implementing the MW2063.
Honoring the event was Dr. Jessie Kabwila an Academic, Feminist, Educator and Activist. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of having self belief, having an education for self employment indicating that it will help the youth to be innovative and self reliant.
In her presentation, Mireille Kadewa, Development Planning Officer for National Planning Commission, urged the students to own the vision, as well as being innovative and be quick to take up on opportunities.
